Toronto door replacement questions

Do you come to homes in Toronto?

Yes. Toronto is part of our service area. Book a free in-home consultation and Oscar measures your opening and reviews materials, glass and hardware at your home.

What does Door Depot do?

Door Depot designs, builds and installs custom entry doors — steel, fiberglass and solid wood — for homes across Toronto & the GTA, from our own workshop at 4019 Chesswood Dr, North York. We also offer custom windows and garage doors.

Which materials do you work with?

Solid wood, fiberglass and steel, with glass, iron inserts and hardware chosen to suit the style of your home.

Can you match an unusual or non-standard opening?

Yes — doors are built to your measurements, including arched, oversized and double openings.

How much does a custom entry door cost?

Our estimator and AI door builder give you a preliminary range in seconds. Your final price is confirmed in writing after Oscar's free in-home consultation and measurement.

Are taxes included in Door Depot prices?

Online ranges are preliminary and before tax. Ontario HST of 13% is added to written quotes and invoices.

Is the in-home consultation really free?

Yes. The visit, the look at your opening and the conversation about options cost nothing and carry no obligation.

How long does an installation take?

Most single-entry installations are completed in a day. Larger doubles with sidelites and transoms can take longer; Oscar confirms timing before the build starts.

Is there a warranty on the door?

Yes. Door Depot issues a written Limited Warranty with every installation: the door slab and frame, plus our original installation workmanship, are covered for the limited-lifetime period — as long as the original purchaser owns the home. Insulating glass is covered for 20 years against seal failure.

Where is Door Depot located?

Our office, showroom and production are at 4019 Chesswood Dr, North York, ON M3J 2R8. Our paint and stain studio is next door at 4031 Chesswood Dr.
